Testimonials  1. What was your injury/condition? My problems started 12, maybe 13 years ago, from over-working, standing long hours, lifting heavy objects and just the repetition of walking on hard concrete. It just wore my lower back down. My pain level was always over a 10 and my heel was constantly numb. It was hard to even move. 2. What other treatment options had you considered? Before I visited Dr. Raya, I saw many different Rheumatologists who each prescribed heavy medications, which just masked the pain, and didn't help my condition at all. When my last medical doctor prescribed me more Percocet and Vicodin I decided to seek alternative help. 3. What were your limitations? My pain used to prevent me from having a normal life. My lower back hurt so intensely and my foot was so numb I could barely roll out of bed in the morning. I couldn't perform or enjoy any of the things that I liked to do. 4. What were your results? What was your injury/condition? My injury started 30 years ago, when I started jumping out of airplanes and riding around in armored vehicles in the military. It's an accumulation of a lot of different stresses on my spine. My official diagnosis was a bulging disc at C7/T1 in my neck and of course it was putting a lot of pressure on the nerves going into my arm. I had extreme pain all the way through my right arm. 2. What were your limitations? My limitations were that I couldn't write. Couldn't write on chalkboard or whiteboard and that was difficult for me because I am a teacher and I have to write a lot. 3. What were your results? In the past I had a similar problem. About 20 years ago I had a bulging disc but it affected my left side.
